MAY 2015 Webinar - presented by Charles W. Sidoti, BCC and Rabbi Akiva Feinstein

Trust Heals: Journeying with faith, hope, and patience

Program Summary

Charles W. Sidoti, BCC with Rabbi Akiva Feinstein spent five years collaborating to write Living at God’s Speed, Healing in God’s Time. Published in 2011 by Twenty-Third Publications, the book is an interfaith resource for those that seek a deeper relationship with God. In this presentation Chuck and Akiva discuss the major theme of their work which is how to cope with life’s constant change and the worry about the future that comes with it. The theological themes of trust, faith, hope, patience, and specific ways to become increasingly aware of God’s presence in the universe and within the context and changes of our daily life are discussed.

Program Objectives

As a result of participating, participants will be able to:
  1. Explain the basic pattern of the universe (life, death, and rebirth) and its relationship to our ability to trust and spiritual growth.
  2. State how practicing patience is to act in harmony with the way God works in the universe.
  3. Discuss how suffering, if we can keep or hearts and minds open, can present an opportunity for spiritual growth.
